The Bon Accord chess club hosts the website of the North East Chess League .
The North East Chess League previously comprised of three competitions:
- The League
- The BP Cup
- The Allegro League
The League was a team round robin played at classical time limits and the BP Cup was a knockout. The Allegro League was a round robin played at rapid time limits.
At present (February 2023) the NE League has sadly not returned post-pandemic and it’s future is uncertain.
